York Health & Wellness Plan
We are following the combined policies and recommendations from the College of Massage Therapists of BC, the BC Centre for Disease Control and WorkSafeBC. These policies may change and be amended as more information becomes available.
Hand Hygiene
Our hands and arms are washed for a minimum of 20 seconds between each patient and after doing anything else (eating, touching any surfaces, changing scrubs and linens).
Treatment Room Cleaning Policy
Between each appointment we frequently clean and disinfect all high touch surfaces in the treatment room including and not limited to: door handles, electronic devices, phones, chairs, desks, cabinets, table, table levers, lotion bottles, hydrotherapy supplies, etc.
A Dyson air purifier is used in the treatment space.
All linens are single use for each patient and used linens are stored separately from clean laundry.
Use of PPE
As of April 2023, masks are no longer required in a healthcare setting. However masks can we worn at your request.
Laundry
All linens are laundered between every use.
They are washed using detergent in hot water and dried on high heat until completely dry.
