Downtown Kamloops
about
york health.
The vision and mission of York Health & Wellness is to support and empower people to be the best version of themselves through patient centered Registered Massage Therapy.
Our core values are informed consent and communication, evidence based standards of practice, and being trauma and psychologically informed.
We are located INSIDE the Professional Image Office Centre at: #210 347 Leon Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 8C7
Informed consent and communication are fundamental because they are tools that create and hold boundaries in a clinical setting. Furthermore, being trauma informed influences our clinical practice by being part of the biopsychosocial framework. This approach to treatment recognizes that many factors impact our health and takes them into consideration when it comes to setting treatment goals.
